It’s no surprise that so many conservation groups and marine experts are opposed to the Marine Stewardship Council certifying an unsustainable fishery. I’m happy to say that NINE conservation groups have already signed on to my open letter at https://friendsofhector.org/letter-to-the-minister-of-fisheries-and-oceans-more/, asking that Canadian longline swordfish not be certified.

I want to thank all of the individuals who have sent letters on my behalf at https://friendsofhector.org/letter-to-the-minister-of-fisheries-and-oceans-more/ and mention the conservation groups who have also signed on, including:
More are joining everyday, so check for the latest news on the growing number of people and organizations from around the world who are opposed to this green washing certification by the Marine Stewardship Council.
